The Best Gifts For This Valentine's Day

By Sheila Dollarsby

Valentine's Day is every woman's favorite holiday and every man's worst nightmare. It's a day that men rarely remember, and women never forget! It's the supposed to be the most romantic day of the year and yet it is also a day that lots of couples argue. Why? Well on this special day, women want to be catered to, they want to feel special, they want to be told by their husbands, fiancs, and boyfriends that they are important and they want to be romanced. Men don't seem to understand this concept the way that they should so with that in mind, the following are 6 Valentine's Day gifts that your woman is sure to love.

1. Flowers. Flowers are always a great idea on Valentine's Day. They help to get the day started out right for your lady. No matter if you decide to order her a dozen red roses, or a dozen arrangements of red roses, make sure that you include a special note, and that the flowers get delivered to her office. That way, the people at the office will have something to talk about which will make her feel special.

2. Scrapbook. Scrapbooks are becoming more and more popular, but are something that men just don't do. So if you really want your lady to go crazy for you, make her a scrapbook and fill it with pictures of the two of you and mementos of the places you have been together; you can included movie tickets, concert tickets, dinner menus, etc... If you aren't good at that kind of thing, get a friend of hers to do it and make sure to give the friend all of the items you want included in the scrapbook.

3. Hand Written Love Letter. These are always great and most men never do one for their significant other. If you can pull this one off, you may not need anything else on Valentine's Day.

4. Jewelry. Jewelry is a great way to say "I love you", but it should be given to only a woman that you love deeply. Don't give jewelry to a casual girlfriend that you don't plan on committing to long-term: it could be deadly.

5. Home Cooked Meal. While it is nice to go out for dinner on Valentine's Day, don't feel pressured to have to eat out. Cook dinner at home for your significant other. It can be just as romantic, if not more as your lady will be honored that you went through so much trouble for her. Even if you can't cook, the fact that you tried will be worth the effort in her eyes; just be prepared with to go meals from a real restaurant to satisfy her hunger afterwards.

6. Do It All. If you really want to romance your significant other, do all of the 5 previous things listed previously. But if you are going to do them all, again make sure that this is a woman that you are serious about and who's serious about you in return. A whole day full of romantic gestures can be overwhelming for a woman that is not crazy about you, but a heart winner for the woman that loves you. Happy Valentine's Day!
